This was one of those releases that came out, got played once, then got shelved and probably never got played again due to the high turnout of tunes at the time. It was also tied to a label that probably wasnt quite as big compared to the likes of some others that were dominating the market. The dnb scene was at a really exciting time musically. 96 was a year where dnb styles were clashing. On one hand you had the likes of bukem and fabio pushing the intelligent sound, doc scott pushing the darker dnb sound, jj frost sticking to his twisted obscurities Randall and Kenny Ken pushing the jungle, Mickey Finn pushing the jump up and grooverider pushing the tech......there was so much choice cuts coming out which is why when you listen to the sets played out back then, the djs really had a variety at their disposal. I don't think many people appreciated this release as i think it was a little ahead of it's time. But the construction of both pieces are absolute heaven. Listening to it just, i just had to re-purchase a copy (As I sold my original many years ago in a job lot). A foolish sale along with some other well missed gems which I'm also replenishing.....Any way, this record is readily available and is cheap. At time of writing I think 13 people have it in their wants which is extremely low and clearly explains how misjudged this release is. Buy this release while it's cheap, you won't regret it and you will be pleasantly surprised by the extent of work the artist has gone into with the drum programming. It's not going to turn into a £100 tune, but for a £1.00 (or less) you will not go wrong.Listen to the uploaded Soundfiles......and enjoy it for what it is........you get 2 slabs of well crafted tunes, one delivers a more uplifting slice of tech with a hint of intelligence and the other on the darker tech side.......but both are gems in their own right.

Both of these cuts are highly underrated. These are lesser known gems. Each has a great mix of precise drumwork and subtle darker atmosphere. "Any minute now..."
