Not worth what flippers are trying to charge. Let em hang until the prices come down.

My copy is very 'staticy' throughout. I cleaned it with my RCM a couple times but didn't help out. Very disappointed. That being said, this is a great record and a great recording.
  • SmEsH
4500 copies in the world - $100 worth. REALLY? You must be joking by putting higher prices than the deluxe version of "Trouble Will Find Me". I really hope those flippers never sell their records.
  • Mullador
Fantastic performance of one of the better albums from the 2000s. Excellent soundstage/recording. The National sound great on vinyl so I was bummed to be so close to grabbing a vinyl copy released last RSD (that’s a different story). BUT I’m glad to have this on cd. I’ve always thought live shows are more enjoyable without having to flip/change records anyway. Highly recommend for fans as well as those less familiar with the band.

Some pops and cracks during the last 15 seconds on side A, otherwise a nice and warm sounding pressing.
  • Beazezius
great sounding vinyl pressing. Very quiet background. Zero pops or inner groove distortion. The live recording is also very good, on par with studio quality.
  • Ndyardin
This is one of the best sounding live albums I own. Glad to have picked it up...cleaned it before I put it on and it is quiet. I do hope they repress it because it's really good and people should hear it.
  • Blackredeemer
Good press! fantastic they have a live LP! just on the fourth song on side 1 (green gloves) there's a lot of surface noise.

As a huge 4ad collector I am totally surprised by this amazing pressing. Can' telling you which release from this certain uk label had a better sound quality. Probably there is no one. Just the dynamics aren't that magnificent, resulting of putting all the tracks just on one vinyl. But let's be honest: that was the right choice: as long you like to hear the whole concert part as in once, it's better to turn the wax just once. Put the outter shrink off to get in touch with the great sleeve design. 4ad, famous for their sleeve designs did it again by this release. You do not seeing this that often (I am almost sure, most of the collectors will not Separate the outter shrink from the sleeve, which is stupid). I can imagine, that there will be a second release, but the question will be, if you get this so called ????- foil jacket. The colour of the vinyl is meantime totally boring, is it? By the way: this is not a 180gram vinyl. And it doesn't matter. As everyone should know. Regarding the superb press quality of this 150gram piece of vinyl.. Great release.

This is an RSD First release, so you will be able to buy this later on, in fact Juno and perhaps Amazon will likely be selling these, so do not bow to the flippers.
  • Monn
Well... it’s being released on cd and digitally in July so everyone who missed out on the RSD Vinyl can at least own a version of the release.
  • Arryar
i hope it is true. the latest pdf revised on 4/17/2018 states it is a first release.Maybe what is exclusive is the clear version.Given how sought after this version is, i suspect the label will release the black vinyl version for broader audience.
  • Ranterl
I'm not sure about that. The rsd page for this release is confusing as it states it is both a first release and an exclusive. I know last year they said the Leonard Cohen tribute also a first release but it never was issued a wide release as far as I know
  • Uranneavo
Glad to have a copy, I was there in Brussels.
  • Yar
☆☆☆☆☆The sound of the pressing is just stunning. Beautiful pressing. Perfetto!
  • Blackbeard
don't you have a lot of surface noise on the fourth song on side 1? (green gloves)
  • Wenaiand
will this be pressed on black vinyl as standard version? the flip price is ridiculous.
  • Vivados
finally got one at not so ripped off price. Great pressing, which can not be taken for granted these days.
  • Light out of Fildon
It is confirmed on the RSD website that this is a RSD first release, so you will have another chance of getting it, albeit on black vinyl.
  • Ttyr
the guy in front of me took the last copy. i was so heart broken at that time.
  • Phobism
Really hoping the same thing. I was 6th in line and waited 4 hours but still missed out on my store's one copy of this. Got pretty much everything else I wanted though!
  • Yla
Juno, Resident and others have it for sale on their websites. Don't worry about those flippers.
  • Arihelm
Best RSD purchase of the year, great sounding album, pressing is flawless and the mirrorboard sleeve looks great.
  • Haracetys
don't you have a lot of surface noise on the fourth song on side 1? (green gloves)
  • Dominator
My copy sounds phenomenal. Particularly Guest Room, which was always kind of a meh song, it sounds great. Very nice. Would like to have a proper live album from these guys with a varied set list.
  • Jorad
I don't find the pressing noisy at all - it's pretty slient. Cleaned with a pro-ject vc-s. Wish there was a download card though.
  • Neol
Noisy pressing without a doubt, however still an enjoyable listen. The live mix sounds really nice and for me, makes this worth it. The rainbow foil jacket looks great as well.
  • Jusari
Great sounding live album. With a good set up the band is in your living room.
  • Doktilar
My copy is clean & quiet, nothing wrong with it.
  • JoJoshura
An excellent performance, but a so so pressing (IMHO). Vinyl cleaned on an Okki Nokki and it did very little to alleviate the static, pops and clicks on my copy.
